Module 4: Individual Oral (IO) - Unpacking the Global Issue (HL & SL)
The Individual Oral (IO) is a pivotal assessment designed to evaluate students' analytical and communicative abilities through the examination of a global issue using one literary and one non-literary text. It emphasizes the deep understanding of texts and their contextual relevance, necessitating a structured and strategic approach to commentary and analysis. Success hinges on clear articulation, precise textual evidence, and a coherent connection between texts and the global issue.
