Similarly, a lot of issues you can face in the low temperature places also. So, in low temperature like your lubricating oil in the machine, may become viscous, so, you should have some preheating...

In frigid conditions, lubricants can become too thick to flow properly, requiring heating mechanisms within machinery. Additionally, materials such as concrete and asphalt can also require specific temperature maintenance to ensure quality and workability during application.

When it gets cold outside, we wear jackets to stay warm; likewise, machines need 'jackets' too! Insulation helps to maintain the temperature of fluids within machines, so they run smoothly even in cold weather.

Similarly, your asphalt it is a thermoplastic material... For a very cold weather, you can see that it is viscosity will be significantly affected.

Temperature significantly affects how materials like concrete and asphalt behave. If they are not kept at optimal temperatures, they can become unusable. In cold conditions, special facilities to maintain heat can ensure that these materials perform correctly when applied.
