9.4.3. Toddlerhood (1–2 Years)

If you observe a few children in this age group you will notice that they are very active. They need freedom to play indoors as well as outdoors. They want to do most of the things themselves.

Toddlers are naturally energetic and curious. This phase of their development is characterized by a desire to explore their environment and engage in physical activities. They often want to do things by themselves, which underlines their growing independence. Therefore, it is crucial for their clothing to facilitate movement and not restrict their play activities.
