In the Indian context, Adivais are frequently showcased in a narrow manner, largely represented through vivid traditional costumes and dance performances at various events. This limited portrayal perpetuates the stereotypes that Adivasis are exotic, primitive, and disconnected from modernity. As a result, their actual realities and challenges remain obscure. Consequently, they face discrimination and marginalization, seen by others as resistant to progress or change.
